Xiaomi Redmi 1S went back on sale today; Redmi Note 4G to go on sale on December 30

XiaomiAfter the ban has been lifted from Xiaomi for selling Qualcomm-based devices, its budget-friendly offering Redmi 1S went back on sale today. This time Xiaomi came with a whopping stock of 50,000 units. Those who registered for the sale till yesterday, were able to buy the device at 2pm through the usual flash sales. It took only a few seconds for the device to go out of stock.

Xiaomi also announced that the flash sale for 4G version of the Redmi Note will be held for the first time on next tuesday, 30th of December on Flipkart. Earlier, the MediaTek based 3G version was available which was banned because of an injunction order passed by Delhi High Court as it infringed patents of Swedish technology firm Ericsson.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G

Redmi Note 4G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 and a quad-core chipset. It has 2GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory, 13 MP rear camera and front camera of 5MP. The 5.5-inch HD display delivers stunning color consistency from almost any angle. 14 hours of internet browsing, 38 hours of talktime, and 775 hours of standby comes from a 3100 mAh of Lithium Polymer battery. Unlike the 3G variant, it only supports a single SIM.

It comes at a price of Rs.9,999. The registrations for Redmi Note 4G has already begun. If you want to grab this 4G LTE device, register on Flipkart at the earliest, as the registrations are open only till December 29th midnight.
