WhatsApp working on a web client called “WhatsApp Web”

WhatsApp is the most popular mobile messaging app around the world with a user-base of over 600 million users globally. Reportedly, the facebook-owned messaging app is now working to bring a web client to allow the users to send and receive whatsapp messages, even while they’re working on their PCs.

Microsoft announces Skype for Web Beta for an app-less experience of Skype

After being made available as an app on a number of platforms such as mobiles, computers, TVs,and even, gaming consoles, Microsoft now announces a web-based version of its instant-messaging, voice and video chat service, ‘Skype for Web’ in a beta version. This web-based version allows you an easier, quicker and convenient use of the service directly from Skype.com.

WhatsApp: Disable ‘blue’ ticks and enjoy your privacy again!

WhatsApp, in its previous update, came up with another interesting feature ‘Read Receipts‘ which marked your message with double blue tick marks if it’s been read by you. This feature proved out to be a bliss for a few, but a piece of agony for many of you. Many people felt like they are losing control over their privacy.
