Xiaomi Redmi 1S went back on sale today; Redmi Note 4G to go on sale on December 30

After the ban has been lifted from Xiaomi for selling Qualcomm-based devices, its budget-friendly offering Redmi 1S went back on sale today. This time Xiaomi came with a whopping stock of 50,000 units. Those who registered for the sale till yesterday, were able to buy the device at 2pm through the usual flash sales. It took only a few seconds for the device to go out of stock.

Xiaomi allowed to import and sell Qualcomm-based smartphones till January 8

Chinese Smartphone maker and World’s third largest smartphone company Xiaomi is now allowed to resume its sale of Qualcomm-based smartphones in India until January 8.
Delhi High Court had banned Xiaomi and the online e-commerce site Flipkart from selling the chinese smartphone maker’s handsets in India in an order on December 8. The swedish technology company Ericsson had filed a case against Xiaomi for infringement of patents under IPR rules, 2007.
